Alkyl aryl polysiloxane TPD-4228 is a modified alkyl aryl silicone oil with special chemical structure, which is the main raw material of die-casting release agent with high requirements for temperature resistance and carbon deposition, it can also be used for rubber and plastic demoulding and lubrication.

Application
Used to produce die casting mold release agent for various of metals, such as aluminum, magnesium, zinc alloy, etc.
Alkyl Aryl Polysiloxane TPD-4228 needs to be emulsified first before use, then it needs to be diluted, the perfect dilution ratio has to be individually determined through trials.
Note:
1. The emulsification of TPD-4228 is speical, please follow the corresponding emulsifying instructions.
2. TPD-4228 is not suitable for low temperature die casting, for medium high temperature die casting applications, it can reduce carbon decompostion and improve demoulding effects by mixing TPD-4228 with other ordinary alkyl aryl modified polysiloxane, it is especially suitable to be used alone in high & ultra-high die casting applications, it can maintain the brightness of the workpieces, and achieve anti-oxidation and anti mildew effects.
3. Due to the ultra-high temperature resistance and strong adhesion of TPD-4228, the cleaning of the die casting products is more difficult than that of the products using ordinary alkyl aryl polysiloxane. The surface of the molded parts has to be cleaned by strong acid and alkali before coating.

Transportation & Storage
1. Transported as non-dangerous cargo.
2. The product should be stored in a shady, dry place with the temperature 0°C-30°C, freezing should be avoided.
3. Avoid from acid, alkali chemical materials and other impurities.
4. Keep away from fire, heat source, direct sunlight and rain.
